Aging-in-place begins at home.

If the prospect of aging-in-place in a thriving urban environment is appealing but would require that you relocate, you may wish to consider condominium living at Friends Center City’s Riverfront community. Read additional information about our philosophy.

What is Riverfront?

Riverfront is a unique residential community set within a modern 40-unit condominium building in Philadelphia’s quaint Old City neighborhood. Located at 22 South Front Street, Riverfront is a multigenerational residence that affords the convenience of city living. Plentiful award-winning restaurants, eclectic galleries, stylish boutiques, theaters, and historic attractions are all within easy walking distance. An array of public transportation options (most free to those over 65) is available within a block, and I-95 and the Ben Franklin Bridge are nearby. Read about our important distinctions.

At Riverfront, you reside in a spacious, fully independent condominium unit. Shared community spaces are available where you can enjoy activities such as weekly dinners, discussions, exercise groups, and entertainment. The building itself is professionally managed. An elected Riverfront board oversees collaborative activities and positive lifestyle opportunities for members of the community. View sample days in the life of our residents.
