Settlement Music School offers daytime chamber music playing opportunities

Hi everyone.  We received the email below from Settlement Music School.

Dear Friends in the City,

I am writing to inform you of a chamber music program at Settlement Music School designed for older adults (and others with free time in the daytime):

The Adult Chamber Players program (ACP) allows amateur musicians to explore the chamber music repertoire in a fun, social atmosphere with other local players.  ACP is open to intermediate to advanced players of string, brass or woodwind instruments, or piano.  Ensembles are grouped by skill level, instrumentation, and preference, with repertoire based on input from ensemble members.  Settlement provides the rooms, music, stands, pianos, and fellow players.  Openings are available at the Mary Louise Curtis branch (Queen Street, Wednesday mornings) and Wynnefield branch (Thursday morning).   Meetings run biweekly, from 10 am to 1 pm, and include coffee/social time as well as musicmaking.

If this might  be of interest to your members, I would be grateful if you could share this information.  There is a modest fee for the program - $175 for a total of 18 sessions.  I am happy to answer any questions you or they may have.

With thanks,
Mary Felley
