Good restaurants, not too loud

Read my article in the Center City Quarterly Dec 2014 issue, "Who Put the Din in Dinner?" Scroll to p. 11.

Here are my suggestions for good restaurants without loud music. Please add your suggestions.
Zinc - quieter Tues to Thu, no loud music.
Le Cheri at the Art Alliance - in nice weather you can eat in the courtyard garden

J J Thai
Jasmine Rice (Thai)
Fuji Mountain (Japanese)
My Thai
Fine Palate

I'm amazed - La Buca is still around! Haven't been there for years, but it was a good, traditional Italian place.

The Moshulu

Refurbished with great water views, and pretty quiet compared to most places. And the food and service were excellent. A pleasant surprise.

Talulah's Daily for Dinner

Very nice and quiet with delicious food and excellent service, but a set menu and reservations are mandatory, so check out the menu online before you commit! Especially nice with the add-on beverage selections (wine and beer, again preset by the house).
